Season 3
The third season of Bones, the hit detective series, tries to capture its viewers in a different approach as compared to the previous seasons, focusing also on the chemistry of the characters as an addition to the actual plot.
The setup of Season three is unchanged, with FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) still struggling to solve crime cases in their departments. The series is similar to the X-Files, but is less paranormal and is more like the CSI series, with its cases founded on veracity.
The only thing that makes this season different is how it decided to follow a major plot line, with one main antagonist, a frightening cannibal serial killer named Gormogon, who uses ancient rites of uncanny nature on his victims before murdering them. The season’s debut episode starts off with the initial appearance of a Gormogon victim, and the succeeding episodes continue on with this particular plot.
