Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan – Portayed by Emiy Deschanel, Dr. Temperance Brennan or commonly called Bones, is an anthropologist who works for the forensic division of the Jeffersonian Institute in the fictional series entitled “Bones”. The world renowned institute is located at Washington, D.C. Bones is also a novelist who wrote a book based on her experiences with her job as forensic anthropologist. Bones is someone who is not very sociable and this usually brings the humor in the show. Her famous tag line “I do not know what that actually means” is her signature introductory line every time she is in a conversation. Dr. Temperance got her nickname “Bones” from her co-worker FBI Special Agent Booth. Brennan and Booth as paired as a team to work with various crimes introduced to them. They usually handle cases which concerns the human remains found on crime scenes.

Emily Deschanel

Emily Erin Dechanel was born on October 11, 1976.. The American actress had her debut film back in 1994 when she was featured in the film “It Could Happen to You”. After that she landed various roles like in “Rose Red” in 2002, “Cold Mountain”, “Glory Road”, and “The Alamo”. In 2006, she was nominated in Satellite Award and in Teen Choice Award in 2007.
